About Me

🏞️ Life on the Open Road:
Hey everyone! I'm Rich Bennett, and my life is one continuous adventure!
For the past few years, I've traded fixed addresses for a life of freedom, living and traveling full-time in my towable camper. The open road is my home, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
My passions revolve around getting off the beaten path:
-
🗺️ Traveling: Exploring new towns, landscapes, and perspectives is what keeps me going.
-
🧭 Overlanding: I love the challenge and reward of self-reliant travel through remote areas.
-
🌲 Nature: Being out in nature—hiking, camping, and simply breathing the fresh air—is where I feel most alive.
Professionally, I get to share this passion with others! I currently work as a Jeep Adventure Guide, leading exciting tours in places like the beautiful Pisgah National Forest and other incredible spots across the country. It's the perfect job: combining my love for off-roading with the joy of showing people amazing places.
And of course, no adventure is complete without my best friend and co-pilot: my trusty chocolate lab, Meatball! He's always ready for a road trip, a trail, or just a good nap by the campfire.
Thanks for stopping by! Follow along as Meatball and I continue to explore this incredible world one mile and one trail at a time!
